Free Music for Nokia Devices in Ireland and Holland

Although not at the same time, Nokia opens its music store in Netherlands and Ireland. Consumers can purchase tracks individually via a Nokia device, such as the Nokia N95 or a desktop computer. Consumers can also stream an unlimited number of full length tracks to a PC. Individual tracks will cost EUR 1.00, albums from EUR 10.00 and a monthly subscription for PC streaming will cost EUR 10.00. Other highlights of the site include the ability to listen to a 30 second clip from any track on the site.

Faster Data Card for hyper mobility

To anticipate the true mobile warriors, Sony Ericsson introduced its first HSPA 7.2/2.0 devices in the ExpressCard/34 form factor, the EC400 and EC400g.

The highlights:

* High-speed data upload and download – 7.2 Mb/s in download and 2.0 Mb/s in upload speeds
* Auto-install and auto-configuration
- the ExpressCards automatically identify your network provider and apply the appropriate network parameters, once inserted into your laptop

* Built-in GPS receiver, which automatically shows the user’s current location on Google™ Maps or a similar service or can feed into any other location-based service(EC400g)

In addition their integrated antenna, the EC400 and EC400g sport a second antenna, which can be flipped-up to further increase the radio signal reception and improving performance. The EC400 / EC400g are HSPA/UMTS, Tri-band 850/1900/2100 MHz, EDGE/GPRS, Quad-Band 850/900/1800/1900 MHz ExpressCards that will be available globally by mid 2008.
