Yes, finally I bought the iPod Touch. I got it pretty cheap, around Rp 300 ribu (US$35) cheaper than in the store. How is it possible? I bought it direct from the distributor, who gives me a good discount.
First impression; it’s a beatiful product. I couldn’t imagine any other vendor who could come up with the design rather than Apple. The super thin and sexy body, the pleasing touchscreen, OHhhhhh… Now this is a gadget that really feels good.
Of course, overtime I have a few niggles myself. The music player is good, but adjusting volume is not as easy as other iPods. You have to activate the screen just to decrease or increase the volume. I really think that Apple should give the dedicated volume control like iPhone.
Anyway, now that I’ve jailbreaked my iPod Touch, it really feels like a brand new device. It’s more exciting than the PDA (although moving files to your Pod is not that simple), yet with the quality of music and video of an iPod.
To improve the experience, I bought the Grado SR-80 and as expected, the sound quality greatly improves!!

Thoughts Aside
This is the age of apple laptops. When planning on buying a laptop notebook, one should be cautious about several things. These include the existing reputation, user reviews, the competitors market etc. With the main opponent being the toshiba laptops, there was never any kind of competition for apple. Amongst its numerous qualities, the one most favored by the users is the long life of the laptop batteries.
